*** 10-days(telekom ship) or 7-days(We ship) auto account activation is applicable for self-installation(with/free modem package).
*** TM fixed line registration process usually will take around 3 weeks time.
*** For modem rental package, RM5 will be charge to customer bill for 24 months .
 
Streamyx 1st bill received will include the following fees:
  1. RM75 for activation.
  2. RM88 for installation (only if installation doing by TMNet Contractor).
  3. First and 2nd month advanced subscription fee.
  4. RM10 for stamp duty fee (effective 1st Apr 07).
  5. Courier modem to client(2-10 days), will charge RM14(Penisular Malaysia), RM25(East Malaysia). *if applicable*
TM fixed line 1st bill received will include the following fees:
  1. RM75 for deposit.
  2. RM10 for stamp duty.
  3. Installation charge is RM50 (payment to TM).
  4. Wiring charge is RM30 to RM50, depends on the wiring (payment to contractor appointed by TM).
  5. TM fixed line(services contract is 1 year), Let's Talk(services contract is half year), Streamyx contract for Let's Talk is 24 Months.
 
Instruction to setup streamyx:
Without modem package:
  1. Buy modem from computer shop.
  2. Wait ADSL modem's DSL light stable.
  3. Activate streamyx by send STXACTV <space> login ID to 33535. (E.g.)STXACTV user1 to 33535
  4. Connect to streamyx by using your login ID and login password
  5. Remember to change your password at https://tmbill.tm.net.my
 
With / Free modem package:
  1. Wait TM deliver the modem to customer.
  2. Wait ADSL modem's DSL light stable.
  3. Activate streamyx by send STXACTV <space> login ID to 33535. (E.g. )STXACTV user1 to 33535
  4. Connect to streamyx by using your login ID and login password
  5. Remember to change your password at https://tmbill.tm.net.my
